I quickly found a problem that would keep me from using Publii personally and that's no native LaTeX support. After showing it to a friend and how easy it was to setup and use, I wondered if I could convert one of my sites to it. However I have to have good math support and it doesn't. For any other user it seems to work great.

@scottalanmiller Try with another separator instead of dash, just to make check if it's the dash or something else. Maybe just remove it altogether.

Super old post, but just curious. Has anyone looked at Hugo lately? I noticed that the SuiteCRM documentation site is freshly built with Hugo. (https://docs.suitecrm.com/)

@masterarts said in 50+ WordPress Theme Frameworks For Developers & Designers: @Dashrender Please tell me what type of tags? I added them for you. Take a look at the ones that I used. It's at least a good starting point for useful tags. WordPress and "Web Design" are the two most critical tags for a topic of this nature. I was pretty torn using the "theme" tag, but I think it will prove to be useful.

@Breffni-Potter said in Slideshow wordpress theme: Sliders are the spawn of evil. Why do you need sliders? They increase load time, and really glitchy. Managing the one the devs put on our website is nothing but a pain. Looks nice tho, and keeping all the graphics slider images super super tiny doesn't hit load times to badly. At least it hasn't yet knock on wood

@Dashrender said: Isn't Wordpress also one of the most hacked webpage type? As someone that has been using WordPress for years, and managing more and more sites everyday, I can promise you WordPress is very secure. The Problem is plugins. People don't take care when installing them and don't keep them up to date. Or, they set there username and password to admin.

@Sparkum said: Hmm so finally got infront of a computer, started from the bottom and worked my way up through the solutions and the most annoying thing is the problem more so appears to be my "content content content..." eh? Copied 5 paragraphs for Lerem Ipsum; turned height to auto and bam everything was perfect. It didnt even attempt to format to the right when I copied the paragraphs in.... So thats really strange and annoying cause I was already adjusting height: auto; before making the post Thanks for all your help guys! And hey, if you've got any suggestions for the website I'd love to hear them. P.S. what are these developer tools you all speak of? The only website tool I've used is Firebug so I'd love to know of something else. Thanks EDIT: Literally didnt even need to height: auto; just added the paragraphs and bam, worked how I wanted it. I literally didnt even have a problem! Just the content I added somehow screwed it all up??? That's great! Developer tools is like firebug but its on chrome, but its built in. Just hit F12. Firefox has tools built in also. Sometimes the sites get funky from the nbsp;'s.

@g.jacobse said: Don't fault them, Just felt that WP was more of a bloggers CMS. Still is, I think. The focus is really around blogging and other things are extensions or add ons. It's generally a good platform, but it is heavily designed around the blog format. I mean for the first many years the idea of using it for anything except a blog was unheard of.

@Dashrender said: @scottalanmiller said: @Dashrender said: No browser supports HTML5 completely correctly. Granted there are ones that do it better than others. Partially because the final spec is just one day old. But in general, all HTML support is always just "really close." The closer the better, and that is what they generally compete over. Agreed - and as we all know, until recently MS/IE just used to do their own thing, but now they seem to be at least trying to play better. As far back as IE7 there has always been extra code snippets that will have to be added to deal with browser inconsistencies with HTML, XHTML and CSS. Most often MS was last to the party and only if you add proprietary coding.

That is all I need, standard stuff in other forums. Notifications should be standard, but it informs me of any thread/any post made, which defeats the object. You mean it shows too much?
